This is a project for an ecologically sustainable building complex and an unusual look, in Malaysia
Lately the world architecture is experiencing a creativity boom, specially in the United Emirates. This example comes from Malaysia, a project with the prestigious Studio Nicoletti Associati signature.
The buildings are located in the waterfront of an artificial lake 30 km south of the capital, Kuala Lumpur. The construction cost is estimated in approximately 184 millions of Euros.
The buildings are part of a urbanization of the area known as Precinct 4. Sustainable strategies like terraces, sunshades, natural ventilation and integrated green space were included into the design. The buildings will source from alternative energy and are expected to produce 50% less CO2 emissions than similar residential projects.
Sure, the beauty of the complex is a highlight itself. It looks like a fleet of ships landed at the lakeside, as you can see on the pictures bellow.
