A quarter-tonne pig is to be given a facelift to restore his vision after a bid to fatten him up left his eyebrows covering his eyes.
A horse trailer will be used to ferry family pet Boris to a vet who has agreed to conduct the brow-lifting surgery.
The three-year-old pig is a local celebrity often seen trotting around his community sports ground in Rosewater, outside Adelaide, Australia.
Owner Graeme Cane said fattening Boris up had developed a deformity causing his brow to droop over his eyes.
He had tried putting him on a diet but that only made things worse, as it led to more loose skin covering his face.
Apart from his vision impairment, and another deformity in one of his back legs, Boris leads a pampered life and loves his status as a local star.
