A 22-year-old model from London has become Britain's only professional female stunt motorcyclist.
Chesca Miles, 22, says she has had to beat prejudice and sexism to reach the top of her two-wheeled world.
"It's been tough and I have not had much support," she said. "The girls are jealous and the boys resent the fact that I am woman who can ride a bike as well as or better than them."
She is also in demand as a fashion model - but says she prefers men to compliment her on her stunt-riding than her looks.
"I love being on the catwalk and in front of the camera but not as much as being on a bike" she said.
"It takes hours of patient practise to get the routines right and when you are drifting a big bike like the Honda or doing doughnuts or standing up on the bike doing a wheelie you have to get it right."
Chesca began riding bikes at the age of just 14 and by the time she was old enough to hold a road licence she was already an experienced rider.
Now astride her specially-adapted 600cc Honda, Chesca performs her thrilling daredevil stunts at shows all over the country - in between stints modelling.
"Stunt work is not just about high-speed chases - it's also about control, balance and mastery of the machine," she explained.
"I give up three days a week to practise - and this year I hope to do some film stunt work as well as put on events all over the UK and in Europe where they love to see trick riding."
